Why am I running for NC House 69?
The current governor and state legislature got elected during the past six years with promises of cutting spending, lowering taxes, reducing the states debt, cutting fat from government, generally reducing the size of state government, and returning more power to local government. Remember all those pledges to us? After six years those promises have not been kept.
In 2016, most of the legislature are running on those same promises that they have not kept. The voting public has an obligation to their children and grandchildren to vote for a legislative candidate that will be responsive to their constituents and not the party.
